Eventually, Gijs and his wife Cita, took over the business. Gijs and Cita had two sons: Kenneth and Dominic Horst. The two brothers are the current owners and third-generation campsite managers. Both brothers devote a lot of time and attention to keeping the campsite up to date.
About us
Camping International has been a true family campsite since its establishment in 1958. Run by families with the aim of giving other families a wonderful vacation. Adrie and Koos Horst, the founders and grandparents of the current owners, were the first generation to run the campsite. Their son Gijs grew up on the campsite and worked on the campsite after school.
Camping is in our blood. The current owners, brothers Kenneth and Dominic Horst, are the third generation.
Taking vacations for themselves is out of the question. During the season they are busy working. Kenneth himself has been camping once in his life. This was with friends at a campsite in Valkenburg, to celebrate finishing school. After returning, he started working full-time at the campsite and he now enjoys the vacation atmosphere every day.
A family business
The campsite started with pitches for tents and has grown into an extensive site with various facilities. Tents are still welcome, but most of the sites are now occupied by caravans and camper vans.
The current owners live on the property with their families and are always available for their guests. Together with their team of staff, they ensure that the site and facilities remain in top condition, so that you, the guest, can enjoy an unforgettable vacation.
