Camping International is renovating!
A spacious reception area, a modern shop, an indoor playground, and even a swimming pool!
Things we've been dreaming of for a long time are about to become reality: After a long period of planning and preparation, we'll get started with the renovation next year.
In this letter, we'd like to explain our plans and what they mean for you as our guests.
In November 2025, we will begin redesigning the Zon and Meeuw campingfields in preparation for the major construction. On our website, you can find our new map. A nice detail is the addition of a multifunctional sports field. This field can be used for a game of football, volleyball, or badminton, but it can also accommodate bouncecastles and play activities.
We'll begin the major renovation in the fall of 2026. A new central building will be built, housing a spacious reception, a shop, laundry facilities, and recreation area. In addition, we are building a swimmingpool and an indoor playground on the site of the current youth center.
We will do everything we can to minimize any inconvenience for our guests. However, there will be a few temporary changes for you. You may experience some disruption from the demolition and construction starting in September 2026. The reception will be temporarily housed elsewhere on the site. The supermarket and Traveller's Bar will also close earlier to allow for the demolitionwork to begin.
We have major plans that we hope will make our guests even more comfortable in the future. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, and appreciate your understanding.
